Untitled Demo

The breakdown's on the front page right now as well, but this one's probably going to end up on the CD I'm working on. The RG-7CST was used for all rhythm guitars, my Martin MC-16GTE for the acosutic, and my UVPWH for the lead. The lead was a one-take improv, and as such mistake ridden as hell.

Alien Love Child (acoustic)

This was a bit of a proof of concept peice, over at www.Sevenstring.org - we were talking about whether or not it was unfair for songwriting contests to demand that the final round feature a performance with the songwriter and at most one other acompianist, and while my initial thoughts were that it made it tough for instrumental guitarists to hold their own, the more I though about it, the more curious I got. So, I stripped "Alien Love Child," an older song of mine, down to one rhythm and one lead acoustic guitar. I thought it held up well enough that I'm toying with the idea of doing a cleaner version of this for a bonus track on the CD I'm working on. Once again, one take for the rhythm and one take for the lead.

A Pagan's Prayer

Another track that will get revisited for the upcoming CD in some form (I'm toying with a heavy middle section). This was originally recorded as a challenge peice to go against Joey Dahlia when he joined GuitarWar.com, but sadly he was banned before we could compete.

Previously Released

Alien Love Child

A track off my 2002-ish Mp3.com release "Seven." This one's going to be on the CD I'm working on, re-recorded, if only because a surprising number of people would be upset if it wasn't.
